Navajo

This little fellow came to us (Darlene and Chelsey)because of a phone call from WV. These people were raising Miniature Horses and they had gotten over whelmed by having to many foals!  Chelsey always wanted to have some Miniature Horses, so we took a little trip to WV.  And they did have like 75 foals to chose from! We pondered on which one to take; they were all wild. We picked this one, and Wild He Was!He was only 3 months old, we got a halter on him and we picked him up and put him in the back of our Blazer. Then tied him to the bottom of the seat, put some bales of hay on both sides of him so he couldn't see out the side windows and took off towards home, It took about 4 hours to get there. So here we were at Double D.A.B. Riding Stable with little wild mini colt. We named him Navajo, he is now 29 years old now and still a stinker, but we love him anyway. Navajo is a Mascot for the stable and  loved by all the children. Now he is retired in our Sanctuary.
